Staycation at Hotel Tropika by rjdexplorer

On my last day in Davao, I planned to just stay and lounge at the hotel, are you going to spend your time out somewhere if the king-sized bed of Hotel Tropika will entice you for a good and relaxing sleep? Surely, no!

Aside from the king-sized bed, Hotel Tropika's rooms have its own fridge, coffee and tea making facility. What I noticed is that they utilized lampshades as the main source of light instead of having those fluorescent or incandescent bulbs on the ceiling, which really made the vibe of the room more vibrant and intimate.

From my room on the second floor, is a view of the enchanting blue water from the pool that always whisper to my ear to go down and take a plunge. The large vanity mirror, occupying the whole portion of a wall of the bathroom will make you vain and tend to do extra effort on your grooming.

The management keeps with the hotel name as the entire area was surrounded by different trees from bamboo to coconuts giving this tropical ambiance. There are a lot of plants that naturally provide a laid-back atmosphere. They also have these wide gardens that usually serve as function areas. Going back to the pool, they installed lightings that changes the color of the pool every moment.

Oh, before I forget, I really love the fresh watermelon juice being served on the breakfast set meal at Cafe Aseya.
